As part of our Spirtual, Moral, Social and Cultural action plan, a Buddhist nun visited children in class 1, 2 and 3 this morning. Children found out about the robes she was wearing and what the items on a Buddhist shrine mean. We talked about what Buddhists believe in and the values they live by. We then all took part in a guided meditiation focusing on how we could make other people happy. Afterwards we all felt relaxed and calm and decided meditation was a great way to look after our minds. What a wonderful morning finding out about a different religion!
