Science Club

Our Year 5 and 6 scientists were back this week with another STEM challenge at Science Club. This week's activity was entitled 'Bridge Blunder' and challenged the children to build a bridge out of paper that was 20cm long and could hold a variety of different weights. Children tested different materials, shapes and sizes before coming up with their completed design. They found that rolling the paper into cyclinders allowed for a stronger and sturdier strucutre.

It was super to see our children work together through many problems, discuss and share ideas as well as think like Scientists and Engineers. We are already looking forward to next weeks STEM Club! Keep your eyes peeled to see how we get on with our next challenge.
