On Wednesday, Class 4 and Class 5 had a special visitor! A member of the Ogden Trust visited school to deliver some STEM workshops. Class 5 were given the challenge of controlling a mini-Mars rover through an obstacle course. However, there was a catch...their team mates were blindfolded! Class 5 had to use their communication and sequencing skills to deliver insructions to help their team succeed. Class 4 dived into the world of coding. Each team was responsbile for guiding a very cute robot through a maze using a coding app on a tablet. Each team had to write their code and de-bug any issues that arose.
Both classes had an aboslutely fantastic and fun-filled morning of learning. We are very grateful to the Ogden Trust for visiting us and delivering such engaging and enjoyable STEM sessions!
