Planning Puppy told us that the taller we are the further we can jump so we decided to investigate. We used building blocks to measure how tall we were and then we used the same blocks to see how far we can jump, carefully counting them to measure.
We decided Mrs Chapman should have a turn but she was so tall that the bricks kept wobbling and falling down. "Lie down Mrs Chapman!"
After lots of us had a turn we looked at the results and decided it might be true. Some of the shorter children jumped less far than the taller children.
"I think the lighter you are the further you can jump because you can be carried more!"
Great investigative work Class 1!
