On Friday 7th February the whole School celebrated NSPCC Number Day.
Every child wore their favourite number for the day and were encouraged to discuss these with each other. Time was also spent in class making mathematical games. The children amazed us all with their innovation, perserverence and team work whilst designing and making their games. They produced an array of board games, card games and dice games all complete with instruction manuals! A winning game was chosen from each class and celebrated in assembly. Congratulations also to Lucy Townley who won the whole school 'Guess the smallest number' competition. She took home a money prize with the rest of the money being donated to the NSPCC charity. Thank you to all who took part, it is much appreciated.
Overall, a fabulous day enjoying maths and raising money for an excellent cause.
