On Tuesday 11th February children in Class 3 had to opportunity to show their parents what wonderful mathematicians they are!
We were focussing on making patterns with 3D shapes and parents had no choice but to get well and truly get stuck in! There were different problems dotted around the classroom and children and parents chose which they would like to tackle. We had repeating patterns with cubes, 3D shape repeating patterns that had to fit a rule and repeating patterns using real life items in the classroom. Mrs Harrison really appreciated parents being there, especially to take lots of photos of the wonderful problem solving and reasoning that was going on in the classroom.
