On Monday 10th Decemeber children from across school celebrated Human Rights Day by working in their House Teams with children from Recepetion through to Y6. We found out about Human Rights and learnt that with rights come responsibilties. We then spent some time learning about the British Value: Individual Liberty. We found out it means 'free to be me!' Each House Team created work that helped the children explore this idea. Some children explored the idea 'don't be a sheep and follow the crowd, be ewe!', some created artwork showing things that represent them and all the children thought about what makes them special and how differences should be celebrated. We all had a fantastic morning!
