Bentham Rocks House Choir Competition

All week children had been preparing for the big house choir competition to conclude last week's 'Bentham Rocks' celebrations. Each house met each day, learning a new song and thinking of choreography for their performance and the results of the weeks hard work did not disappoint.

K2 (blue) went first with their rendition of Eiffel 65's 'I'm Blue' led by Miss Thwaite. Uluru (red), along with Mr White, prepared some fantastic choreography to go with their song choice of 'Uptown Funk'. Miss Richardson had lent her full collection of cowboy hats to Machu picchu (green) and they gave a prop filled performance of Toy Story's 'You've got a friend in me'. Finally Matterhorn (Yellow) performed a tear jerking rendition of 'This is me' from The Greatest Showman.

Our esteemed panel of judges, consisting of Mrs Nelson, Mrs Askew and Mrs Pearson, were very impressed with all of the teams but decided this years winners were Matterhorn. Congratulations!
